Q: When can I register?
A: Registration for the year happens in August and is on-going until spaces are filled.
Even though the season begins in September, it is possible to start late, space allowing,
up until end of December.
Q: How to I register for classes?
A: Register for classes online at www.auburndancecenter.com . Print the registration form
and bring it to the school prior to or on the day of the first class. Office hours,
Monday-Thursday 5pm-9pm.
Q. How do I pay for lessons?
A. You may pay by cash, check or credit cards. Auburn Dance Center accepts
VISA and MasterCard.
Q. When do I pay?
A. Tuitions are due on the first of the month. A $20 late fee will be charged for lessons
paid after the 15th.
Q. What is the minimum age requirement for students?
A: Students are accepted as young as 3 years of age.
Q: Do 3-4 year olds participate in the class alone? Can parents leave while
the class is in progress?
A: Yes, the children in our Pre-school program must participate in the classes independently.
Parents are welcome to wait for their children in the lobby. It is ok to leave while your child
is in class, but please make sure that the desk has your current cell number should we
need to contact you.
Q. When should I or my child arrive for dance class?
A. Students should arrive at least 10 minutes early so that classes can start on time.
Q. Where should I keep my coat and street clothes and shoes while in class?
A. No coats, extra clothing and street shoes are allowed in the studios.
They should not be left in the lobby. Shelves and coat hangers are provided
downstairs for these items.
Q. Do you have an observation window so I can watch my child's class?
A. Auburn Dance Center does not have observation windows into the studios. We feel
that it is distracting to the students and instructors. Student's must be able to be
completely focused and give their total attention to the instructor. Also, parents
cannot fully see the progress of their child by watching class every week.
Q: Are classes open to observers?
A: Generally speaking, no. However, we do offer parents three observation times
during the year to check on the progress of their child.
Q. May I videotape or photography my child's class?
A. Videotaping and photography are permitted in the classes during observation
week only. However, special circumstances can be arranged with the teacher at
other times.

be made up immediately.
